The STPG double-sided A-frame glass trolley
(200×80×200 cm) is the mobile version of the type A stillage — identical footprint and double-sided loading, with polyamide castors instead of a fixed base. Manual mobility without forklift involvement makes it an essential tool in production halls with intensive internal movement.
The 200×80×200 cm catalogue dimensions cover the full range of standard windows and doors — the same platform as the type A stillage, but the trolley can be pushed across the hall by one person under full load on a level floor. This is the key operational difference: the stillage requires a forklift for every movement.
Trolley A vs stillage A — when to choose the trolley?
The type A stillage is an external transport and storage tool — moved only by forklift or crane. The type A trolley is an internal working tool — moved manually between workstations. Choose the trolley when: (1) internal transport distances are short (up to 100 m); (2) assembly stations need to be served without constant forklift access; (3) the forklift is a bottleneck in the production process.
Castor configuration — three options
Swivel: 360° manoeuvring freedom, ideal for tight halls and corridor intersections. Fixed: linear movement only, greater stability on long straight runs. Swivel with brake: like swivel plus parking lock — essential at stations with floor slope or time-sensitive full-load operations.

FAQ
What is the difference between the A-frame trolley and the A-frame stillage?
The trolley has polyamide castors. As a result, you can move it manually across the production floor without a forklift. The stillage, on the other hand, stays static and moves only by forklift or crane. In short, the trolley suits internal movement, whereas the stillage suits external transport and storage.
How many operators are needed to move the type A trolley under full load?
On a level floor, one operator can safely move the trolley under full load. On slopes or uneven floors, however, we recommend two operators. Alternatively, swivel-with-brake castors do the job.
Which castors to choose for a narrow production hall?
For narrow halls with frequent direction changes, swivel castors (360° manoeuvring) work best. Fixed castors, on the other hand, suit long straight runs.
Can the type A trolley be lifted by HIAB/crane?
Yes — we fit forklift pockets as standard. Moreover, HIAB lifting points come included.
What is the warranty?
Above all, we back every unit with a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty.
