The STPG single-sided L-frame glass trolley

(also known as an L-buck dolly or glass buck) at 100×80×160 cm is a compact mobile trolley for production halls and warehouses with limited manoeuvring space. With a 100×80 cm base and swivel castors it moves freely in aisles from 120 cm wide — where the double-sided type A trolley (200×80 cm) has no room to turn. The 160 cm frame height — 50 cm more than the type L stillage — supports balcony windows and standard balcony doors that lower-frame trolleys (up to 110 cm) cannot safely hold.

Trolley L vs trolley A — the fundamental size difference

Type A trolley (200×80×200 cm): large orders, double-sided loading, wide halls with aisles from 250 cm. Type L trolley (100×80×160 cm): smaller batches, single-sided loading, narrow production cells and aisles from 120 cm. For direct delivery to window assembly stations (often in tight spaces) the type L trolley is the only trolley that can get there.

Trolley L vs stillage L — the key operational difference

The type L stillage has a 110 cm frame and is designed for external transport. The type L trolley has a 160 cm frame and is an internal working tool — it supports taller elements and is mobile. Two different roles, two different tools.

FAQ

What is the difference between the type L trolley and the type A trolley?
The type L trolley (100×80×160 cm) has a smaller base. As a result, it manoeuvres in aisles from 120 cm. For that reason, it works best where space is limited. The type A trolley (200×80×200 cm), on the other hand, offers larger capacity and double-sided loading. Consequently, it suits high volumes in wide halls.

What is the minimum aisle width for the type L trolley?
With swivel castors and an 80 cm base, the type L trolley manoeuvres in aisles from approximately 120 cm. With fixed castors, however, it requires straight-line travel without turning.

What is the difference between the type L trolley (160 cm) and the type L stillage (110 cm)?
The type L trolley has a taller frame (160 cm) and castors. As a result, you can use it for internal work and taller elements. The type L stillage (110 cm), on the other hand, serves external transport. Moreover, it has no castors, so a forklift moves it.

What castor options are available?
Basically, we offer polyamide castors in three versions. Swivel castors, firstly, give full movement freedom. Fixed castors, on the other hand, move linearly. Swivel castors with a brake, finally, add parking security. In each case, we select them to suit your working environment.

What is the warranty?
Above all, we back every unit with a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty.
