addresses one of the highest hidden costs in glass and window logistics: returning empty stillages to the sender. A fixed stillage occupies the same trailer space empty as loaded — a standard trailer fits 2–3 units. With a folding stillage the upper section collapses and many empty units travel where previously three went.

The 230×119×168 cm catalogue dimensions make this the largest unit in the folding range — designed for large facade windows, sliding terrace doors and oversize glass panels that do not fit in the smaller variants. The 230 cm length covers panoramic balcony glazing up to 220 cm and standard sliding doors.
The folding series — three variants, three applications
Small folding stillage (115×80×150 cm) — standard casement windows and interior doors. Medium folding stillage (113×119×168 cm) — mixed loads of windows and entrance doors. Large folding stillage (230×119×168 cm) — large-format facade windows and sliding doors. For mixed orders we can configure a fleet from several variants.
Why no HIAB lifting?
The folding frame mechanism prevents welding crane lifting points at standard positions — loading and moving by forklift only.

How many empty folding stillages fit on a trailer compared to fixed stillages?
Basically, it depends on the collapse ratio. As a rule, however, you fit many times more. As a result, return haulage costs drop directly.
Why is HIAB/crane lifting not suitable for folding stillages?
The folding mechanism prevents welding crane lifting points at standard positions. For that reason, a forklift moves the stillage instead.
What is the difference between the large, medium and small folding stillage?
We offer three sizes: 230×119×168 cm, firstly, handles facade windows and sliding doors. The medium stillage (113×119×168 cm), on the other hand, takes mixed window and door loads. The small stillage (115×80×150 cm), finally, suits standard casement windows.
Does the folding stillage have the same load capacity as a fixed stillage?
Yes — it carries full load capacity in the open position. Moreover, MAG 135 welding and rear-frame bracing guarantee structural durability.
