The STPG low-profile double-sided A-frame glass stillage type A2

is the reduced-height variant of the A-frame — designed for spaces where headroom is limited. Sharing the same floor plan as the type A (200×90 cm) and identical double-sided loading, the 120 cm frame height allows the stillage to operate under low warehouse ceilings, inside trailers with a reduced internal profile, or in converted delivery vehicles.

When to choose the A2 over the standard A-frame?

The type A (220 cm) is the correct choice for entrance doors with transoms, facade windows and elements above 110 cm tall. Choose the type A2 (120 cm) when: (1) the warehouse or loading bay ceiling is below 150 cm, (2) you are transporting windows and doors up to 100 cm tall in high volume and double-sided loading is required, (3) the trailer has a lower internal profile than the standard 270 cm.

Construction and materials

Welded from certified structural steel using the MAG 135 process (EN ISO 4063). Additional rear-frame bracing maintains full load capacity and rigidity at reduced height — no element has been lightened at the expense of strength. Temperature-resistant rubber. Available painted (RAL) or hot-dip galvanised.

FAQ

What is the difference between the type A2 and the standard A-frame stillage?
The A2 stands 120 cm tall instead of 220 cm. As a result, it suits height-restricted spaces or transport of elements up to 100 cm tall. The floor plan and double-sided structure, however, stay identical at 200×90 cm.

What element heights suit the type A2?
Basically, the A2 handles windows and doors up to approximately 100–110 cm tall. For taller elements, however, the type A (220 cm) is the correct fit. These include entrance doors with transoms and balcony windows above 110 cm.

Does the A2 have the same load capacity as the standard A-frame?
Yes — additional rear-frame bracing maintains full load capacity, regardless of the reduced frame height. At order, moreover, we confirm exact parameters.

Can I order the A2 with safety pins and hot-dip galvanising?
Certainly — safety pins, an anti-tip bracket, a crane lifting eye and hot-dip galvanising all come available on request.

What is the warranty and lead time?
Above all, we back every unit with a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty. At order, moreover, we agree the lead time together.
